I AM PROUD TO SERVE VERMONT AND VERMONTERS AS THEIR ATTORNEY GENERAL

Charity is running for re-election to continue her work protecting Vermont and Vermonters from federal overreach by the Trump Administration, protecting our natural resources from polluters, and protecting kids from companies and individuals that prey on them. Charity was first sworn in January 2023, and has been working hard to make progress ever since.

Protecting Vermont from the Trump Administration. Charity has sued the Trump Administration for violating the U.S. Constitution or federal law 49 times. Since President Trump took office in January 2025, Charity has held or participated in over 30 public forums to meet with Vermonters, offer information about her lawsuits, and hear concerns from Vermonters.

Data privacy and social media. Charity sued Meta and TikTok over their harm to children, and she has continued to champion a data privacy bill – especially around our most private data.

Abortion rights. Charity took every opportunity to support our right to abortion, suing the FDA to make access to medication abortion more accessible and defending a lawsuit against the State over a law requiring crisis pregnancy centers to be truthful.

Dishonest healthcare companies. Charity took on one of the drivers of the inflated costs of prescription drugs, the pharmaceutical benefit managers (PBMs), and sued.

Public safety. Charity prioritizes public safety, prosecuting violent crimes and sexual crimes against children.

Holding Monsanto accountable for PCB contamination. Charity sued Monsanto for contaminating Vermont’s water resources and schools with PCBs. She has also joined numerous national efforts to preserve our natural environment and intends for her environmental work to be part of her legacy.

Fighting scams. And she used her platform for scam awareness, pushing out scam alerts, making TV appearances, speaking at conferences, and posting frequently on social media to help Vermonters stay safe from scammers trying to steal our money.

Charity has a deep commitment to the state that raised her. She will continue fighting for Vermont and Vermonters.
